Hilton Head Vacation 2011

We had so much fun going to Hilton Head with Donnie, Christy, Cade, Laura, and Nana! Here are just a few pics from our trip!

Big girl bed

After having some sleeping problems the last week or two, Rachel decided she was ready to try a big girl bed. So far she seems to be loving it.

Rachel's 2nd birthday party was a Dora themed fiesta. We tried to keep it as small as possible and only invited immediate family as well as 3 of her other good friends. Here's a pic of the food spread...

The kids made Dora themed tamborines out of paper plates and jelly beans and decorated them with stickers, etc.

Rachel on the morning of her actual birthday. We made cinnamon rolls especially for her since they're her favorite. She ate two!

Then we went to Monkey Joes and her friend Josiah joined us too! They had so much fun!

Picking the perfect book and "Pinky" the cat as gifts for her birthday. The book was from Ms. Alison since she gave her some money for it...and she picked out "Pinky" as a gift from me and Adam in addition to her new swingset. We ate at Red Robin with Papa, Mimi, Uncle Nate, Aunt Lalo, and Kate before going to Books A Million to pick out her gifts.

Valentine's Day 2011

We had a very enjoyable Valentine's Day. We started the celebration by going to Brent & Rachel's the Saturday night before the big day. They made an awesome Valentine's dinner for us and another couple. We had pork loin stuffed with spinach, awesome mashed potatoes, and tangy green beans...plus cheese and chocolate fondue for appetizers and dessert. It was wonderful! Rachel and Lilli had fun playing together too!
